Four Simple Steps

Receive Christ Today

Gods Purpose For You

Believe The Bible

If you would die today, where will you spend eternity?

The Bible says in the book of John (John 3:16 ) that God loved the world so much that He sent His son Jesus to die on a cross for our sins. This is the greatest thing that has ever happened on earth because without Christ, man was destined to spend eternity separated from God. If we put our trust in Christ we can not only receive His love, healing, and incredible plan for our life on earth, but we get to spend the rest of eternity with Him in heaven. He loves you so much and desperately wants a personal relationship with you today! I encourage you to keep reading and discover what Jesus has done and wants to do in your life today. Four simple steps to start you on the path to life of peace and serenity.

Four Simple Steps to Peace with God: by Billy Graham

Step 1: God's Purpose: Peace and Life!

God deeply loves you and wants you to experience peace and life – abundant and eternal!

The Bible says….

  • "We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1
  • "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
  • "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10

Step 2: The Problem: Our Separation
Your separation from God

God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him. God gave us a will and freedom of choice.

We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.

The Bible says….

  • "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
  • "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

There is only one way to GodOur Attempts to Reach God:
People have tried in many ways to bridge this gap between themselves and God.

The Bible says….

  • "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not that of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
  • "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." Proverbs 14:12
  • "But your iniquities have separated you from God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." Isaiah 59:2

Step 3: Gods Bridge: The Cross!
Jesus died on the cross for our sins

Jesus Christ died on the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.

The Bible says….

  • "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
  • "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5
  • "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God." 1 Peter 3:18
  • "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Step 4: Our Response: Receive Christ!Place your trust in Jesus Christ and receive Him today.

We must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation.

The Bible says….

  • "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20
  • "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12
  • "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Roman 10:9

Are you willing and ready to receive the Lord and Savior today?

Here is how you can receive Jesus Christ:
  1. Admit your need. (I am a sinner.)
  2. Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).
  3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.
  4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior.)

What to Pray:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior.

In Jesus' Name. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, the Bible says….

  • "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
  • "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

Gods Assurance: His Word

  • "All scripture is given by  inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto to all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

  • " For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit". 2 Peter 1:21

Receiving Christ, we are born into God's family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer. This is called regeneration, or the "new birth".

The Bible says....

  • "But as many as received Him, to them gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but by God." John 1:12-13
  • "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3

As a result of your new birth, you have inherited God's divine nature, and you now have eternal life.

The Bible says....

  • "He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." John 6:47
  • "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." John 3:36
  • "He that hath the Son hath life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." 1 John 5:12-13.

This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ.

To deepen this relationship you should:

  • Read your Bible every day to deepen your relationship with Jesus and know His incredible love for you.
  • Talk to God in prayer every day.
  • Tell others about Christ and His wonderful love for them.
  • Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached.
  • As Christ's representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others.

Is there a real meaning and purpose to life?

This has to be about the most important question that anyone can ask. Ever!

The answers you get may vary. Some may even suggest that you should not ask the question. Richard Dawkins, Oxford biologist, says that science can only answer "how" rather than "why" - and that we should not even ask the "why" question anyway.

But without a real reason for living, why bother? Yet we sense that there are universal ideals in the world which seem to reflect something bigger than we are - love and justice for example.

Different faith systems attempt to make sense of it all. Many (New Age, Hinduism, Buddhism etc) do not suggest that there is any creator god outside the physical universe. Such spiritual forces as exist are seen as a part of the physical world, rather than outside it. Others faith communities focus on a creator god, yet distant and mysterious.

Christianity has a unique perspective on this subject. It paints a picture, whereby a powerful and loving creator God, who could create (Psalm 8:3-4) a universe arguably billions of  light-years across, chose to reveal  himself in a form which people could understand, by being born as flesh and blood to live, talk, walk and teach his people.

The real true meaning of the birth of Jesus Christ represents that historic moment in time when God stepped out of heaven and came down to earth. John 6:38 says it so beautifully. "Because I have come down from heaven to do, not my will, but the will of him who sent me". Just think of it. Even though Christ had shared incredible power and glory with God the Father through out all of eternity, he voluntarily emptied himself of that power and glory to become our Savior in the earthly form of a human being.

It's incredible, but God is telling us that (John 3:16) he loved us so much that he became one of us. Jesus has to be the most pivotal character in human history. Whatever you think of him, his impact has been absolute and enduring.

Is the Bible intellectually credible?

Simply stated, the Bible is a history book with a powerful message. Without considering the Author, it's no different than the math book you had in high school or that chemistry book you had in college. The Bible provides factual information about people and places as well as events of the time. In short, the Bible is a total of 66 "books", written by more than 40 authors. The time period of the Bible is about 2000 years and is totally accurate in matters of history and prophecy. What is more remarkable is there are absolutely no contradictions and fits together perfectly as if written by one person.

There is astonishing agreement between science and the Bible: many eminent scientists are Christians. Archeological discoveries have frequently shown previously unproven statements in the Bible to be true.

Does it work?

Things may look good in the shop. But will they work when we take them home? And continue to work, reliably? That's the test.

Millions of people are claiming that Jesus Christ has make a difference to their lives. They say that they have found him to be a friend - a real personal presence who gives them transformed inner peace and purpose to cope with the problems and difficulties of modern life.

Read this famous quote concerning the Bible:

“The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable.

Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword, and the Christian’s charter.

Here paradise is restored, heaven opened, and the gates of hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart, and guide the feet.

Read it slowly, frequently, prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It is given to you in life, will be open at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor, and condemns all who trifle with its holy contents.”
